WYTEC is a Community Youth Training & Education Centre based in Waterford City. We have approximately 86 trainees attending.

WHAT DO WE DO?

WYTEC provides training and education courses for early school leavers (16 - 25 yrs old) and young unemployed people.

Our approach is centred on each individual's need and their ability to develop their own learning. WYTEC sees trainee's participation as a window of opportunity for them to gain life skills and confidence. We try to include all stakeholders in the decision-making process and to ensure their participation in, and ownership of, WYTEC and what takes place here.
